Once you've walked away with the best  of bargains, it's important to know where to sell them. Starting with one platform at a time is recommended for beginners. But which one should you choose?

That all depends on what products are in your chosen niche.  For purposes of selling online, a niche is a group of products or services that appeal to a small, specialized section of the population.  


When you decide on a particular niche that you and your buyers love, you'll soon become their go-to seller because of your passion and knowledge.for that group of products.  Do you have a passion for...

...blue vases?
...pink flamingos?
...silk neckties?
...glass mosaics?
...Lladro figurines?
...bamboo products?
...striped fabric?
...vintage jewelry?
...napkin rings?
...baseball caps?
...Mazda parts?
...or anything else that can be categorized?  

Those are examples of specialized niches, and the list is endless.  While you don't have to be tied down to your chosen niche products 100% of the time, the majority of your online selling efforts should stay focused.  If you are looking for higher profits and bringing more income into your home, a specialization is key. There's an old saying to remember: "If you try to be all things to all  people, you'll end up being nothing to anybody."  Leave that type of selling to the dollar stores and Walmart.
